Upgrading Work |
|
|
Queens Moat House Corridor. Oak Services removed all existing floor and wall finishes and replaced with new, and then sourced and installed new fire reel enclosures and dado rails. Next we co-ordinated and supervised the removal of an existing asbestos ceiling, replacing it with a new suspended system, finishing the project with the redesigning of a smart new lighting system. The result is a warm and welcoming environment that fulfils the clients requirements. |

Space Management |
|
|
Construction of computer suite within an existing warehouse for Kentdental. This project was brought about by the need for a clean and relatively dust free, secure environment to house computer facilities on site. It involved complete construction of four offices from block work, installing a roof, raised floors and ceiling. The offices were then decorated throughout including floor coverings, windows, power supplies, air-conditioning, handrails and ramps. |

External Works |

|
Elmbridge Borough Council. This brief was to improve the environment and add facilities to make the area accessible to people with disabilities. It involved re-surfacing the car park areas, taking up and renewing the paths, replacing existing windows with uPVC units, making good the surfaces for decorating and finally installing disabled bathroom and kitchen adaptations. Functionality has been much improved. |

Domestic Refits |

The customer - Moat Housing Association - needed the new kitchens fitted, so Oak Services managed the refit from start to finish, removing the old and replacing all units, flooring, plumbing and electrics. Once the kitchens were checked and fully operational, we then redecorated to individual colour schemes to complete the job. |

Commercial Refits |
|
|
The owners of a wine bar and restaurant needed a new look and a more efficient environment, and brought in Oak Services to manage and carry out the work. We stripped existing finishes, installed new steel beams, floor and staircases. Once the structural work was finished Oak Services installed new toilets, commercial kitchen, bars and back bars, floor finishes and specialist decorations. The trendy new look was presented to the world with the revamping of the frontage, also carried out by Oak Services. |

Office Refurbishments |

Oak Services has a varied and comprehensive experience of carrying out office refurbishments, many through surveying practices. These projects might involve stripping fixtures and fittings, removing partitions and ceilings, and then creating a more pleasant and ergonomic working environment by fitting new ceilings, electrics, plumbing and sanitary ware to toilets, partitions, carpets and vinyl floor coverings, skirtings, doors and decoration. |
